Beatdelay is one free calculator relating entered musical tempo, a defined reference beat and a straight, dotted or triplet target note.

It makes the reference beat visible and retains exact note ratios through the calculation. This helps when you want a mathematical starting value for a millisecond-based effect setting, without implying that every device has the same range or interpretation.

One local calculation

Inputs are processed in your browser without an account, audio upload or microphone. Optional Copy, Text and CSV actions run locally; entries are not saved in browser storage. Refreshing restores the 120 quarter-note BPM example.
